Who else is excited to see this? Theories? Speculation? What do you hope to see?

I'm sort of excited to see these movies, but somewhere along the years, my love for Star Wars has been diminished. I don't want to blame Episodes I-III, but I can't deny that it's part of it.

I don't watch the prequels very often. I think the last time I saw them was when I bought the saga on bluray about three years ago. I like to pretend that they are an alternate time line and are not directly connected to the Original Trilogy. I've never lost my love for the OT, and watch it about 3 times a year. I'm planning a rewatch at some point before the new movie comes out in December. From what I've read, JJ Abrams is trying to keep it more like the OT, using more practical effects and the like. And what I've seen so far, I've liked. So, I'm trying to keep cautiously optimistic. Which boils over into rabid fanboyism on occasion.

That sounds promising, although if he uses as many lens flares as he did with Star Trek, I'm going to have to hunt him down and smack him with platypus or something. Also, nothing wrong with rabid fanboyism. I'm that way with Buffy, and apparently Chuck now.
