Just starting the thread. I have mixed feelings about the first two episodes of this season. I like Peter Capaldi, but I still haven't warmed to him as the Doctor yet. I admit, it took me several episodes to get used to David Tennant (Christopher Eccleston forever!!!!), and longer still for Matt Smith, but eventually they all weasled their way into my (single) heart as the Doctor. Maybe it's not Capaldi and maybe it's all Clara. I thought Danny Pink was wasted and they should have used his character differently, but that's why I make the zero bucks in tv.
Brief Notes:
Peter Capaldi playing guitar = awesome.
Missy = awesome.
I almost thought that Missy having Clara put into the Dalek would somehow swing back to Asylum of the Daleks and we'd see how she actually got turned into a Dalek, but then I figured it was too soon for Jenna Coleman to leave, since she just announced it publicly.
Not liking the sonic sunglasses.
Can we please get Missy and Madame Vostra together. Please.

Not a big fan of Peter Capaldi as the doctor myself, David Tenant was the best in my opinion. Plus they named a NPC after him in EQ1 in the guild hall (Tavid Denant). Also EQ1 gets props because you can quest to become a Time Lord in that game.

I actually adore the whole "cranky old man" thing that Capaldi's got going on. He had his mid-lives crises (for now), and is doing something new. Of course, I'm sure last week's episode was an attempt to harken back to the manic days of Tennant and Smith, but you have to have a bit of levity now and again or it becomes too dark.
Missy is the best. Bar none. Michelle Gomez is a genius.
I can almost tolerate Clara, at least, in the last two episodes. She was dangerously close to me learning how to force choke imaginary characters by the end of last season.

While I hate her being called "Missy", I love the character and think Michelle Gomez is great! Clara hasn't bothered quite as bad this season. Still not a fan though.

That is an awesome shirt.
I haven't watched the last two episodes yet. Since I knew it was a two-parter, I wanted to watch them together. I hate waiting a week in between. Yay DVR. Also, work is the devil.
